Mother,

I wish I had words

 To express how I feel.

To tell you how you

Have helped me to deal

With all of the bad

The happy and sad.

You were there unconditionally

And never got mad.

When I called you up

Ten times a day

For help or advice

You made it okay.

You set an example

Of how to be a mother

And how to raise a child

Better than any other.

Now I just hope

I'll be a mother good as you

And until then I'm glad

You're their grandMOTHER too!
