Brennan 10 Months

Ok guys. I am such a flake! I never posted Brennan's 9 month post, and then I said I was going to have his 10  month post up almost a week ago, and I'm just now getting to it. Seriously though, I need to be better! Anyway, can you believe Brennan is 10 months???! He is almost a year old and it makes me so sad! I've been going back and forth for months trying to decide whether or not to cut his hair short, because it is just so stinking straight and fluffy that it sticks out in every direction no matter what I do! But I love it at the same time! So if I don't cut it soon, I'll for sure be giving him a 1 year old haircut since that is kind of a no-longer-a-baby milestone. I don't know, let me know what you guys think! Also the first photo was a test shot that I just ended up loving so that's why his hair isn't done in the first one. Thanks for reading guys!

Brennan is 10 Months old!

HE...

Weighs 24lbs and is 29in long!

Has 4 teeth; 2 on bottom and 2 poking out on top

Eats equal amounts formula and regular food (but is starting to take bottles less and less)

Is able to eat dairy without any "issues"- Ice cream is his favorite

Crawls normally now(YAY!) and is really fast

Loves standing holding on to people or things and walking around, but has started trying to stand and take steps on his own (unsuccessfully)

Still doesn't like water but will warm up to it for a few minutes of splashing before he hates it again

Saw his first fireworks... For the record he hates sparklers and the smaller fireworks, but likes the big ones

Hates touching grass, and if you put him down on it he freezes with his arms out and then tries to get off it as fast as he can

LOVES daddy! Like he is his favorite person ever and cries when he hears his voice on the phone

Is super cuddly and loves to crawl into my lap and climb up and put his arms around me

Says "baba" when he's babbling and "mama" when he's crying and tries to say "dada" but hasn't quite figured it out yet

Likes to watch snapchat videos of Arrow, Beckam, and Atticus(kids of bloggers I follow)

Thinks it's funny to crawl away when you chase after him

Really loves food. A lot. (obviously, I mean he's a big. kid.)

Is mostly the silent type so it's pretty rare to hear a peep from him but when he's really happy, he will growl and make clicking noises at you

Thinks Quinn is the funniest thing in the world and loves wrestling with him

Loves to give kisses and even make a "mwah" sound

Loves making fart noises on peoples arms and faces even more.

It's been a while since I wrote a post about Quinn, and since I always write about Brennan for his monthly posts, I figured it was time Quinn had a turn!

Quinn is 4 years 8 months old!

Is 42 in tall and 41 lbs.

Loves Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (specifically Donatello)

Can read and spell 4 letter words

Loves the color green and has to have everything green he sees

Likes to show everyone his skating power (sliding on wood floors)

Is VERY literal

Loves picking out his outfits and has a great sense of style

Is cool, not cute or handsome

Loves collecting money for his piggy bank

FINALLY likes it when I sing to him at night after reading his favorite book (Did I Ever Tell You How Lucky You Are)

Always asks for "Oitnull" for breakfeast (oatmeal)

Asks what that "mazing smell is" when he sees a treat he wants

Asks what that "masty smell is" when he sees something he doesn't want

Loves getting "tucked up" at night

Still sucks his pointer and middle finger... hoping to break that habit soon

Has 3 "magic friends" named Turk, Berk, and Oberk

His magic friends come over to eat and play regularly

Still hates baths... they are quite the ordeal

Loves going to primary

Is best friends with Baby Brennan and Diesel

Loves having his picture taken

And wants to be the green superhero(Hulk) when he grows up!

We sure do love our Quinnie bug and love seeing how smart and imaginative he is!

Weighs 23 lbs and is 28.5 in long

Loves eating baby puffs

Has figured out the pincer grasp

Can finally sit without tipping over

Loves doing his little caterpillar crawl all over the whole house

Loves his rattle

Laughs when you play peekaboo

Loves jumping!

Sleeps exclusively on his stomach and will roll over if you put him on his back

Makes clicking noises with his tongue

Loves screeching

Will grab any phone he sees

Reaches towards whoever he wants to hold him

Has the fluffiest roundest head of hair

Likes to pull his blanket over part of his face and then push his head into the corner of his crib when he sleeps

Give big slobbery kisses!

7 MONTHS: BLESSING

Brennan is 7 months old!

Was blessed this month!

Weighs 20lbs and is 28in long

Wears 12-18 month clothes

Likes smacking his lips

Is okay at sitting but still falls over when he gets excited

Is so close to learning to crawl!

Has to grab everything he sees

Likes chewing on fabric

Is a pro at scooting and rolling

Loves watching big brother and laughing at him

Wants to eat everything mommy and daddy eat

Doesn't like being surprised

Likes grass

Hates the baths, the ocean... basically all water

Still doesn't have any teeth but is definitely teething

Is super ticklish

Can't believe how big my baby boy is getting! It was such a special experience to bless another one of our babies and I'm so grateful that I have a husband who holds the Priesthood and can bless my babies! And how stinking cute is his blessing outfit?! #hearteyes

Messy Waves Tutorial

I had some requests for a tutorial showing how I did Susan's hair in this shoot. I used a slightly smaller curling iron on her and she has bangs, but other than that, it's the same!
