It's amazing seeing how much Quinn has grown since he was that adorable giant baby 2 1/2 years ago! Everyday he surprises me a little more. Talking in full sentences, saying adorable phrases, doing EVERYTHING by himself because "he doesn't need mommy's help"... It's like he's already a teenager! One thing that he has recently started loving is sports. I don't know where he got it from but one day he just started calling every ball a soccer ball! If you don't know Jared and I that well, we both hate just 2 sports.... baseball and soccer. I can't stand watching baseball for some reason and soccer is just plain boring. But the one sport we both LOVE is basketball! Jared grew up playing basketball, and I grew up with a dad who loved the Chicago Bulls so much he shaved it into his head. No seriously. So when I heard the words soccer ball come out of Quinn's mouth, I knew I needed to do something about it! I went out and bought him his own basketball hoop and basketball shoes and shorts. And he loves them. A lot! I've had a hard time pulling him away from the hoop and he won't let me take his clothes off! I've never been so proud! And who knows.... He's pretty tall for his age.... Maybe years from now he'll be in the NBA:)
